UI President says mask mandate continues

In a memo sent to students, University of Idaho President Scott Green announced the mask mandate will continue.

This comes as five students tested positive for COVID-19 last week and one student has been in the university’s isolation unit.

The mandate is for all university buildings and all university-sponsored indoor events.

However, masks can be removed in a shared office workspace where more than six feet of distance can be maintained.

The mask mandate will be reviewed again on Nov. 1st.
