Unvaccinated Patients Account For Over 80% Of Coronavirus Hospitalizations At Gritman Medical Center In Moscow This Summer

Over 80% of the patients hospitalized for coronavirus at Gritman Medical Center this Summer have been unvaccinated.

Officials at the hospital in Moscow updated the data Thursday.  Since June 1st, 41 people have been hospitalized for coronavirus at Gritman.

Gritman Medical Center remains safe and open for all medical care needs.  Public health officials moved North Idaho to Crisis Standards of Care this week because of staffing shortages and increases in coronavirus hospitalizations.  Gritman officials say the Moscow hospital is not operating in Crisis Standards of Care at this time and that people should not defer getting care.
