Ballots for next month’s Washington primary election are being mailed out on Friday.
There are several statewide primaries on the ballot including 36 candidates for Washington Governor. One of those candidates is 20-year-old Dylan Nails of Colfax who is running as an Independent.
The other statewide primaries in Washington are for Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Attorney General, Commissioner of Public Lands, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Insurance Commissioner.
Eastern Washington voters will also decide the primary for the local congressional seat.

There are 3 small taxing district levies on the ballot. The Town of Farmington has a street levy and a property tax levy on the ballot. The Town of Garfield has a street levy on the ballot.
The vote by mail Washington primary ballots must be back to the Whitman County Auditor’s Office by the end of election day August 4th.
