The Washington State Charter School Commission has received the formal application from Pullman Community Montessori. The commission will be reviewing applications for new Washington charter schools this Spring.
The application calls for a K-9 charter school most likely at the Gladish Community and Cultural Center. Pullman Community Montessori would begin by teaching grades K-5 before expanding a grade level each year.
The state charter school commission will hold a community forum on the application next month. The group is then expected to decide on the charter in June.
If approved the Pullman Community Montessori charter school would open in the Fall of 2021.
