Washington’s Canola Harvest Down Significantly This Year

This year’s Washington canola crop was down significantly from 2020. 

The national agricultural statistics service reports that Evergreen State growers produced 176 million pounds of canola this Summer down 12% from last year.  The canola yield was 40% off from the 2020 crop.  Washington farmers planted 131,000 acres of canola this year up 40,000 acres from last year.
