Water Restrictions Eased Slightly In Troy

The outdoor water use restrictions in Troy have been eased slightly as the city continues to recover from a well going down.

Troy officials have expanded the hours that residents can water.  Watering in Troy is now allowed at night between 6:00 in the evening and 10:00 the next morning.  Watering is only allowed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Troy’s main water source the Twin Creeks Well started breaking down in early August prompting city council to initially ban all outdoor water use.  The well has been fixed but the community’s reservoir is still low.
