The Whitman County Commissioners have hired a new Veterans Service Officer.
Becky Buri of Colfax has been hired for the job. Buri is an accredited VSO and will be training with the Spokane County office. She should be fully trained in the next few months. Whitman County’s Veterans Service Office had to suspend operations in February due to personnel issues.
