Whitman County Home Prices Drop From Record High

Local Washington home prices have dropped from the all-time record high.

The Whitman County Association of Realtors has released its June housing market numbers.  The average price for a home sold in Whitman County last month dropped about 30,000 dollars to 375,000 dollars.  That’s on the heels of May’s all-time record high average home price of 403,000 dollars.  Average home sale prices a year ago were around 350,000 dollars.

Home sales increased significantly last month nearly doubling to 63 properties sold compared to May.  Whitman County homes were only on the market for about a week last month setting a new record for average days on the market.
