Whitman Heritage Digital Collections, a project of Whitman County Library, will visit three library branches in October to scan and digitize historically significant photos from local community members.
Community members are invited to bring up to 15 photos or documents to be digitized and added to the library’s online collection.
After scanning, the community members will keep all of their photos and documents, and will also receive a complimentary digitized copy.
To participate, contact Whitman County Library at 509-397-4366 or firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time slot.
They will be at the Rosalia Branch Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Colton Branch on Oct 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. and the Endicott Branch Oct 26 from 1 to 5 p.m.
