Washington State University will not be cancelling class for this Fall’s weekday home football game. Unlike the last time Cougar Football hosted a weekday game, students will have class on the Friday September 29th gameday against USC. WSU announced Wednesday that faculty, staff and administrators will be given flexibility regarding that work day but class will be in session. The last time Cougar Football hosted a weekday game was against Arizona State on Halloween night 2013. Under the previous administration, led by late President Elson Floyd, WSU cancelled class in the afternoon and made class optional that morning.
