WSU Police Believes There May Be A Cougar In North Campus Area

Washington State University authorities are working to keep people safe from a cougar that might be in the area of the campus golf course.

WSU Police report that there is evidence of a cougar near Terre View Drive between Northwood Drive and Airport Road along the north end of campus.  Officers are working with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to ensure public safety.  People in that area are asked to remain vigilant and supervise children and pets closely.  Anyone who sees a cougar needs to call 911 immediately.
