WSU researchers seek volunteers for boredom brain study

Washington State researchers are searching for volunteers to participate in a boredom brain study.

The goal of the study is to understand more about how people experience boredom and its link to the brain.

18 to 25-year-olds will sit for an hour to an hour and a half as researchers record their brain waves. During that time, participants will be asked to fill out questionnaires and perform a decision-making task, such as judging whether two lines will cross paths.

To schedule an appointment, email child.cognition.lab@wsu.edu.

Participants will receive a $15 gift card for their time.
