WSU student arrested for allegedly pushing couple through a glass window

A 20-year-old Washington State University student has been arrested for allegedly pushing a couple through a glass window at a residence on College Hill.

Pullman Police responded to the incident on Indiana Street around 9:30 Saturday night.  Officers found a college aged male and female outside a broken window suffering from cuts.  The female was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital with a severe, non-life threatening, cut to her forehead.  Her boyfriend suffered a minor cut.

Officers determined that the male victim’s roommate, 20-year-old Joel Hargin, allegedly shoved the couple through the window.  Hargin was arrested for felony 2nd degree assault and misdemeanor 4th degree domestic violence assault.  He was booked into the Whitman County Jail in Colfax.  Hargin is scheduled to make his first appearance in Whitman County Superior Court Monday afternoon.

Officers say alcohol was involved.
