WSU Student Tries To Steal Decorative Christmas Gifts From Pullman Police Station

A Washington State University student allegedly tried to steal decorative Christmas presents from the Pullman Police Station after he was released from custody.

The 20-year-old was arrested by officers on College Hill early Friday morning for allegedly punching another man and for being a minor exhibiting the effects of alcohol.  He was taken to the police station where he was booked and released around 5:00 in the morning.

Surveillance cameras captured video of the man taking decorative Christmas presents from under the department’s tree in the station lobby.  A friend who arrived to pickup the man returned the packages to the lobby.  The department noted that the decorative presents were an empty box, some Kleenex and a box of feminine hygiene products.
