WSU students help residents with federal tax returns

Washington State University is offering help to eastern Washington residents who need help with federal tax returns through the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

The student led program is now online due to COVID-19.

To qualify for the free assistance, individuals must generally earn $57,000 or less.

The program operates from noon to 3 pm Saturdays through Apr. 3. To make an appointment visit the VITA website.
