Washington State University Music Emeritus Professor Dr. Greg Yasinitsky has a new Christmas song out. Dr. Yasinitsky has released his new song “It’s Santa” which is now streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer and more.  Two versions of the song were recorded including one featuring vocalist Horace Young.

The annual Palouse Cares Food Drive is Saturday. Donations can be dropped off in Moscow at Real Life Church, Safeway or Walmart.  In Pullman donations can be made at Zeppoz.  The donations will go to local food banks.

The Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Beasley Coliseum at Washington State University. The Trotters will be in Pullman on January 30th.  Tickets go on sale Monday from ticketswest.

The snow is nearly a foot deep in Thornton. According to National Weather Service reports, Thornton has received the most snow on the Palouse with the storm that began early Wednesday morning.  9 inches fell in Viola and Moscow received nearly 7 inches of snow.  

Moscow Police detectives now say that they don’t know if the University of Idaho students who were murdered were targeted.
