28 Year Old WSU Student Bryan Christopher Kohberger Faces 4 Counts Of First Degree Murder For Allegedly Killing UI Students

28 year old Washington State University student Bryan Christopher Kohberger faces 4 counts of 1st degree murder for allegedly killing four University of Idaho students.

Moscow Police held a press conference this afternoon announcing the arrest of Kohberger in his home state of Pennsylvania.  He has been living in Pullman and pursuing a doctorate in criminal justice at WSU.

Kohberger has an extradition hearing in Pennsylvania on Tuesday to begin the process to bring him back to Moscow to face local charges in Idaho.  He was arrested early this morning.  Police have recovered a white Hyundai Elantra that was the focus of the investigation in recent weeks.  Moscow Police Chief James Fry says they have not found a murder weapon.  The students were found stabbed to death inside an apartment near the UI campus on November 13th.  Moscow Police are still looking for information about 28 year old WSU student Bryan Christopher Kohberger.

Any additional information about the allegations won’t be made public until court documents in the case are unsealed when Kohberger makes his first appearance in an Idaho courtroom.
