There are several 4th of July celebrations on the Palouse.
It starts Monday morning with the Johnson Parade at 10:00 in the small town South of Pullman. Whitman County Fire District 12 Volunteers will be hosting a BBQ fundraiser after the parade at the fire hall in Johnson.
The Latah County 4th of July Parade is at 10:00 on main street in Moscow followed by a car and tractor show.
The Albion 4th of July Parade is at noon followed by a 4H fundraiser lunch in the park.
Endicott’s 4th of July parade is at 7:00 followed by an ice cream social and fireworks at dusk.
Pullman’s Community 4th of July Celebration in Sunnyside Park begins at 5:30 with music from the Community Band of the Palouse, followed by legendary folk singer Dan Maher and DJ Goldfinger who spin records up to the fireworks display.
Timber from the Lumberyard will be selling burgers and hot dogs starting at 6:00.
The fireworks display will be choreographed to music on Pullman Radio’s New Country 104.3 FM and Hit Radio 104.7 FM.
Pullman Transit will provide free shuttles to and from Sunnyside Park.
