Idaho voters head to the polls Tuesday for the general election.
Gem State voters will consider federal races for President and the local Congressional seat. All three local Idaho Legislative seats are challenged this fall. In Latah County voters will decide two contested races for county commissioner and a three way race for sheriff. Voters will also decide on retaining Second District Court Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall.
Statewide Idaho issues include a constitutional amendment to ensure that only U.S. citizens vote in the Gem State. Proposition 1 would create an open primary in Idaho and use a ranked choice system for the general election.
The City of Troy is floating a 4.4 million dollar bond to pay for sewer upgrades. The Kendrick School District has a one year, 750,000 dollar levy on the ballot. There is a vote in Juliaetta to recall Councilwoman Judi Fuller.
The polls are open in Idaho from 8:00 to 8:00.
