The annual Lauren McCluskey Race for Campus Safety at Washington State University is this weekend.
The race benefits the Lauren McCluskey Foundation and its efforts to make college campuses safer nationwide. Lauren grew up in Pullman and was murdered in 2018 by a man she briefly dated while she was a University of Utah student athlete.
Saturday’s race is from 9:00 to 1:00 and begins at the College of Veterinary Medicine parking lot. Last year over 800 people raced to support campus safety awareness.
