Pullman Regional Hospital Chief Clinical Officer To Retire After 34-Year Career

Pullman Regional Hospital’s Chief Clinical Officer Jeannie Eylar has announced she will be retiring this month after a 34-year career.

Eylar started her career in 1990, when the hospital which was called Pullman Memorial, was still on Washington State University’s campus.

She stepped into the role of Chief Clinical Officer in 1994 when new leadership was established at Pullman Memorial.

Eylar aided in the planning, construction, design and move to Pullman Regional Hospital in 2004.

One of her greatest accomplishments was leading the work of the patient safety team to create systems and a culture that supports patient safety and satisfaction.

Pullman Regional will conduct a national search for the role of Chief Nursing Officer to replace Eylar, the hospital hopes to fill the position in early 2025.
