Two interim Washington State University deans have been promoted to the jobs permanently.
Interim College of Arts and Sciences Dean Courtney Meehan and Interim Libraries Dean Trevor Bond are being promoted.
Meehan was named interim dean last year when Todd Butler took the same job at San Diego State University. She joined the WSU faculty in 2007.
Bond was appointed interim dean last year when longtime Dean Jay Staratt stepped down for health reasons. Bond has been with WSU for over 20 years.
The promotions were announced by the WSU Provost’s Office on Thursday.
