Broken glass is forcing the City of Pullman to close the outdoor pool for the rest of the season.
City staff sent pool users an email on Wednesday afternoon announcing the Reaney Park Pool closure. Some broken glass fell into the pool. The pool needs to be drained and the glass removed and then refilled before the pool can reopen. With just a little over a week left in the season city officials have decided to close the pool for 2025. The season normally runs through Labor Day weekend. The lap pool and the splash pad at Reaney Park will stay open.
